WeChat Go Series of on-the-spot Service Platform
The 'WechatGo' series of mini-programs is a travel service platform launched in collaboration with global partners. This platform, through comprehensive cooperation with local merchants, provides WeChat users traveling abroad with services such as shopping, dining reservations, area ticket reservations, and travel information. The ticket resources are locally optimized, and the platform was jointly launched by KPN, the Royal Dutch Telecom, and SUDMay Group's joint venture company WEGOEU in March 2018. WEGOEU operates with the support of tourism bureaus from several important European countries, with over 2600 participating partners and more than 200,000 registered users. The CMO of WEGOEU also delivered a keynote speech at the 2018 Global Partners Conference. In December 2022, the 'Grab Overseas Ride-Hailing Mini Program,' jointly launched with WeChat, was officially launched, covering the entire Southeast Asia region and providing a more convenient and efficient travel option for millions of tourists. In the future, the 'WechatGo Malaysia,' 'WechatGo Bali,' and 'WechatGo Hong Kong' mini-programs will be launched, offering the best local travel services for the 40 million outbound Chinese tourists each year.
